Macair is proud to be the designers of air conditioning and ventilation for a sustainable and low carbon footprint housing project.
Project Etopia is an award-winning project that develops economical and environmentally-friendly buildings. Their housing product allow people to live in low-cost, highly energy efficient homes; homes that can be built quickly with the minimum of specialist skills almost anywhere in the world. Currently running a number of pilot programmes, they aim to build a minimum of 250 homes across 5 continents by the end of next year. The first units will be built early in 2018 before a considerable roll-out programme is launched.
Macair is extensively involved with designing mechanical HVAC and electrical installations within two and three bedroom units. By enhancing the latest HVAC technologies and embracing renewable energy generation, Macair has developed efficient and sustainable air con and ventilation to help people live more healthily without harming the environment.
